there is a phrase in scientific publishing where people plagiarize a paper but run it through a thesaurus to change certain words to make it less obvious. thing is, randomly picking things up from a thesaurus leads to what is called tortured phrases.

Schlaucht ganz schön, aber ich find’s wichtig präsenz zu zeigen. tw. gibt es auch interessante Diskussionen mit anderen Teilnehmern. wir sind zwar nicht immer einer Meinung, aber wir können unsere Unterschiede für den Moment zurückstellen. (auch wenn es vlt übergriffig ist: wenn ihr könnt, geht zu den demos. es ist unsere Republik. wenn wir sie nicht schützen, stirbt sie.)
I’m having the same problem. this kind of nested argument is quite annoying to program in e.g. argp. i am even thinking of using a minimal forth like parser to do this.

agree. at the same time i wonder whether the usual authentication system is adequate given a) the sensitive nature of the data and b) the data’s implications for people who have not signed up, e.g., if my cousin signs up and provides data, the data he provides is not really his but, in a way, also mine. so, i wonder how much data processing is really covered by my cousin’s consent, given that it is not really his data alone, and whether, given this circumstances, special provisions should have been provided by the processor.
(personally i tend to believe that companies like 23&me should not exist in the first place, given that their operation requires processing of sensitive data from people who have not consented to the use of their data, i.e. processing of relational data should require consent of all related partners.)
es wird deutlich besser wenn man darauf achtet jeans aus reiner Baumwolle zu nehmen. blöderweise gibt es die nicht überall bzw die Verkäufer kennen sich selber nicht aus. insofern bin ich auch auf Alternativen gespannt

als überzeugter car-sharer: der Vergleich ist doch arg verkürzt. man sollte doch die Mobilitätsbedürfnisse bestimmen und durchrechnen, wie teuer es ist diese Bedürfnisse durch verschiedene Angebote (und deren Kombinationen) zu erfüllen. der Witz ist dann, dass üblw. herauskommt, dass man seine Bedürfnisse vollständig wesentlich günstiger (mit meist nur wenig Mehraufwand) erfüllen kann. aber so eine Gegenüberstellung wie oben ist doch panne
