Wow thank you for the explanation! That made it very clear.

I haven’t tried their wireless mice, only wired. I would say their quality is on par with the good mice that I have tried. I’ve used a few Razer mice, SteelSeries, Logitech, Zowie, and Finalmouse now. It is one of the 3 I haven’t had issues with (I will never buy another Razer or SteelSeries mouse), and only upgraded because I wanted wireless. I bought my Glorious maybe 5-6 years ago. I wholeheartedly recommend Glorious as I think it hits a perfect value unless things have changed with their wireless variants or with time.
I just like how mature the gaming mouse market has gotten, and I do not buy mice that require their manufacturer driver/ software.
Glorious, Zowie, and now Finalmouse (I bought into the hype but I genuinely do like the mouse I got) have all served me well and don’t require any proprietary software.
Damn! What a sick all season beast! I love it!
I wanna see pics of this!
Still rocking my kindle keyboard. Great little device, however I would love a backlit screen and usb c port for charging now. I’d actually like it to be a bit more multipurpose for reading and annotating pdfs (I read quite a bit of spec sheets for work) so I am looking at remarkable/boox but only if my company allows me to expense it.
My wife and I have 6 month old twins… we’re both only children too. We are so lucky that my mother in law moved to our town as soon as we told her. Both of my parents are disabled, and cannot assist. Also, my wife getting the 12 weeks fmla / baby bonding was fine, but not great. I got nothing for paternity leave from my office and took two weeks of pto when they were born. It was and still is rough. If we didn’t have MIL around, we’d be in a real tough spot…
So I just built myself a new computer, and I am running Nobara. So far, so good! I was wondering, how do I enable that biscuit theme? It looks like that Hyprland thing does not work for me. Sorry I am terribly a noob at Linux.
This piques my interest, however with absolutely horrid experiences with Hyundai/kia dealers in the past, I have my reservations. Especially as an ev is not as easily user serviceable compared to a traditional gasoline variant.
Will wait to see, but really excited for the rivian r3. I’m glad low cost commuter evs are becoming a thing… I’m just waiting for Toyota/honda to create a compelling offering.
Heck yeah I would love to never use the terminal. The terminal is the biggest roadblock for me adopting Linux. I never, ever want to open it. If I have to open it, Linux has failed for me as a windows replacement.
I want to try Linux again, and I have dipped my toes many times, but the terminal is the major block for me, a slightly above average pc user.
You don’t really plant them, you get eggs on little strips of paper that you hang on your plants. Super easy!
Lacewing! Super beneficial insect! I try to grow them every year in my garden. They eat aphids and other pests on plants. It’s a friend :)
Woah, this is really nice and cool. Was just browsing all on Lemmy and it showed up. I haven’t taken a dive into Linux, but I have dipped my toes in the last two decades, and dang it, I want to try it now.
The simplistic elegance that a nice theme can offer like this gives me peace and calm, and makes me feel welcome. Linux can be so intimidating, and many themes are harsh, this just makes the whole system seem approachable and friendly.
Looks fantastic, and saved for my future self!
Picked up d2 again randomly last night. Just got through kurast and am about to bash mephs soulstone.
Games so effing good after all these years.
Hi neighbor! Believe it or not, I walk by your house all the time and always tell my wife I love it :)
As for what you can do, I know you said you’re southern exposure with a lot of sun, but I can tell you that I would consider your home and even that front mostly shaded.
Now is a good time to mulch with some good compost. We’ve been seeing good results with just getting some black kow from Home Depot.
Additionally, I was just there yesterday, but The Farm in Green Village (by Morristown) is open and they’ll soon have plants in their shade section. Very helpful people there too. Definitely worth the trip.
Also, we have a ton of deer, and your arborvitae look like tell-tale signs of deer nibbling. They can’t reach the top so just eat out the middle. I got a motion detected sprinkler to scare them off a few years ago and that seems to help.
Small world, especially on Lemmy!
He absolutely could break his contract. Many, if not all contracts, have exit clauses for both drivers and teams to separate. While we don’t know the details of the contracts and the clauses, they definitely exist.
I’d love to see max somewhere else just for the shakeup!
Leases have buyout clauses attached to them. I assume it means they will take 7500 off your buyout price after lease is up.
Boeing could use them on their door plug nuts.
Good, I was worried he might not be able to follow up on his great rookie year with McLaren.
Yes, but the surge is for Ukraine and Europe is gearing up to defend itself. It’s easier for Ruzzia to take out community broadband than it is satellites in orbit around earth.
