Indians make up like 17% of the world’s population so one would imagine so.
I’ve also run into many people who claim to be Indian here so I don’t doubt it.
Me @ this meme: hahaha tiktokers do be like that
Also me when I have to read more than one paragraph: 😴
This is certainly a silly post, but as someone who has been on the rally side, it’s genuinely appreciated. We each do what we can.
Okay fine I’ll get up. Jeez.

Yeah there’s a few in Canada too that still use the coin. They usually will give you a coin to use if you go to customer service and ask. Most places just gave up though and abandoned that system. I wonder if it was costing them more to try to maintain or something. I’d imagine that people who have a cart tend to buy more, whereas if they’re forced to use baskets because they don’t have a coin, they might not buy as much. I know that’s the case for me at least.
I agree with you, but don’t like that the interpretation puts the onus on the person being cheated on. Like, people will cheat even if they’re with the most gorgeous, totally out of their league person. Cheating has nothing to do with how attractive or how attentive to themselves your partner is. If you’re a cheater, you’re gonna be a cheater.

Where the fuck did I say Palestine would destroy Israel?
I am 100% pro-Palestine, I just genuinely do not understand how voting someone in who has exponentially sped up the genocide and sped up the suffering of brown, queer people and women, in his own country is somehow the more moral choice in all of this. It doesn’t make any fucking sense to me.

2·9 months agoI was house-sitting recently and my friend had club house roasted garlic and pepper blend. Shit was so good, I will definitely be picking some up for myself.
I know I’ll get downvoted for this, and to be clear, all of our governments supporting this genocide are absolute bullshit and capitalism is bullshit.
However, at least you had one choice that wasn’t actively also trying to destroy your own country and take away the rights of people in your own country to such an extent that they now can’t even worry about what’s happening elsewhere because they’re too worried trying to find healthcare and not get deported, killed, or permanently detained.
If you were going to not vote in order to take down the system, then show up and take down the god damn fucking system.
I wrote my thesis about how we can learn from Cuba’s green farming movements (because they were essentially locked out of capitalism) and was criticized for it.

1·9 months agoI binged the first season of North of North. Comedy about a modern day Inuk woman living in her very small town in Nunavut. Reminiscent of parks and rec but not a mockumentary style. A bit cheesy at times but tons of potential and touched on some really important topics. Love to see indigenous representation.

2·10 months agoHonestly it was a really rough few months, I think I mostly got through it by trauma bonding with the person who was being bullied, were actually good friends now. After that email, I ended up reaching out to HR because that was the tipping point for me. I left shortly after to another department and there was a full investigation where (for various reasons) the person wasn’t fired but quietly moved along to a different department. The investigation opened up a lot of gates though and that department has gone through some pretty drastic changes to address the toxic culture.

17·10 months agoHad one boss who disclosed a new employee’s diagnosis to the rest of the team in order to discredit that employee’s ability to do their job. Among many many other things. The tipping point for me was her sending out an email (after the employee had already moved on to another department) which was just titled “EVIDENCE OF BAD [WORK]” trying list a bunch of shit that in her eyes had been done badly. This would be whatever if she was emailing it to her own boss or whatever - no, she cc’d the ENTIRE team and it was very clearly done to try to embarrass the employee, who as I mentioned had already left and couldn’t even defend themselves against the bullshit this person was saying.
Also worked at another place where the bullies (who were mental health specialists) bullied a 60-year-old team member so hard that she went home crying. They’d also regularly make ‘team plans’ in office and have ‘team lunches’ where they’d very purposefully exclude one or two people but then very loudly chat and comment about all of it in front of those people. Place was toxic as fuck.
Oh this is wild to me too. I work IT support and we recently started swapping everyone to W11, and as soon as I upgraded mine I turned off all their ads, news/weather popups, Bing search garbage. When I ask people if they want help to get rid of it they’re like “nah I’ll just live with it” as if it wasn’t the most distracting thing in the gd world.

Nothing wrong with a little male pattern baldness. Disrespectfully OP, you are wrong.
