Hot high speed rail lines near you.
PM me ur sexy train pics.
It’s Landover
I’m sure FIA will penalize the British driver known as Lando Norris for breaching the aborted start procedure.
Holy fuck he beached it
Does anyone know what this cylinder/puck-shaped part is? I’ve seen drivers take it out along with the steering wheel when getting out. I don’t remember seeing it before.
I wonder if Red Bull have anything to gain by changing the setup and starting from pit lane.
Spirit of Latifi lives on
Where is Lawson vs Perez? TV direction? Hello?
Yeah, good on Lawson tbh, but Pérez does that to every backmarker. He routinely makes contact or pushes people off with his sloppy overtake attempts. Japan 23 was a prime example. In Baku when he was in Carlos’ DRS I thought to myself: “He’s gonna punt Sainz off the track, isn’t he?”, and two corners later they were both in the wall.
Lawson about to steal fastest lap from Norris lmao
I’m all for Red Bull downfall
If I were Lawson I’d be scared for my life with Perez behind
Edit: Looks like some sidepod damage on Perez’ car
Teams should’ve selfhosted.
Can someone euthanize Checo’s career pls
Bah Gawd it’s WRC with a steel chair!
Oi you beat me to the post by 13 seconds so I guess I’m deleting mine. Here’s another source if you don’t want to give Elon clicks: https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article/breaking-ricciardo-to-leave-rb-with-immediate-effect-as-team-get-set-for-mid.1O8CDJ6kYB9VsxpPrbqxX0

With 8 Grand Prix and 3 Sprints to go Lando would need to outscore Max by 7.75 points on average every remaining race weekend. Considering Red Bull’s struggles with their car and competitiveness of Mercedes and Ferrari, just a mix of consistent podiums and wins would give Norris a good shot at WDC. Even today he closed the gap by 8 points, and there’s still Singapore and Qatar coming up, so I’m expecting a bigger swing in favour of McLaren. It’s baffling they aren’t using every opportunity to give Norris every possible point right now. I understand not wanting to strip Piastri of his first win in Hungary, but today their unwillingness to issue team orders cost them easy points.
On the other hand, good for Piastri. Unless McLaren takes a clear stance on prioritizing Lando, Oscar has no reason to act like his doormat number 2 driver. It would be hard for him to shake that reputation, and who knows how the WDC fight will look like in 2025.
So this is on Mercedes for miscalculating the weight and a DSQ is only fair.
However, this whole tyre weight and marble pickup thing seems so silly:
You pick up a different amount of marbles depending on track length (or no in-lap like in Spa), rain can wash them away, if you do a long stint your tyres have less rubber left on them. Tyres are standardized, identical between all teams for the whole season and Pirelli knows exactly how much they weigh brand new. After the race FIA could just weigh the car without wheels. I’m assuming right now teams are leaving a slight weight margin, so they would be able to run even closer to the limit if they didn’t have to worry about tyre weight.
How do you even fix that? At this point driving on the wrong tyre is an optimal strategy. Either:
Also I’m not fooled by drivers moaning about how wets suck and have no grip; as long as inters are even 0.1 a lap faster than wets, everyone will want to run inters. I don’t think there’s place for two wet weather compounds since everyone will pick the ‘faster’ one regardles of weather.
