No gotchas, they have loads of employees globally while it’s a US company they are a global company.
I was hired via the UK side of things but the C-Suite bosses are American.
Basically like if you worked at mcdonalds.
So HMRC get their fee like normal :)
I’m working in the UK and my employer which is US based has embraced the WFH culture. Although the CEO initially said they didn’t understand it, they did listen to their employees and has decided to sell off their HQ in the US and give people the option to WFH or work in office.
I value this so much.
I do hope more C-Suite listen or that employees leave to reach then a lesson.
100% he is.
I thought this was James Corden
And potato in your favourite form* haha
They’re a blank canvas you can do whatever with, they’re basically pancake batter cooked at high temperature in a cupcake tray.
By themselves they have a slight savoury flavour but you can do whatever with.
In the UK they’re called Yorkshire Puddings where they’re common eaten with roast beef/pork/chicken/etc with gravy and various vegetables and mashed potato.
Definitely a fantastic addition to a meal.
Yeah, it’s not global coverage but they do have channels in select countries.
I mean, while that’s fair, they cover worldwide as well, I’d say most of the news they cover is worldwide.
That makes sense!
I’ve never really looked into running fibre into my house.
But when I worked in a DC I laid a lot of fibre so we didn’t really think too deeply on what to use except for distance and bandwidth, unless the network team had a specific reason.
Good to know!
I have fibre to my house but only 1G so no point switching just yet.
What made you go with single mode over multimode?
I assume distance, just wondering how big your house is haha.
Spot on!
I use ArseLinux btw.
Yup, I just talk the way I want to talk.
I talk with my own character, politely and everyone is happy.
I don’t understand what businesses some people are working in that you’d need to be so careful with how you talk.
I work for a global multi billion dollar company and never had issues, plus the higher ups don’t even talk like this in meetings unless it’s some official email or something.
I find when I AirBNB in the places I have been across Europe I have had no issues and I end up getting more for my money with no silly cleaning charges.
Is this something other locations have problems with or am I just missing the terrible places?
No, unless stability is very little change.
