What a steal!
Woah! The welington page really helped with the lore! Wow. So many things answered.
And a hint of realism. Corpos stealing ware to make a corporate control natured version. So good.
Love the comic, love your stuff!
My head-cannon is that the meta bots go and find this stuff and eventually become enlightened/friends with the FOSS. When you want to find more cool shit, you eventually find yourself in open source lands.
…Or they trip and break the screen, to be replaced sooner rather than later.

11·5 months agoYou don’t remember the employees and MS? There was a ton back in the day.
I think it was Terry Myerson that said it. And I remember MS talking about it via my IT department. Them Terry left and it’s history now.
Yeah I hear you. I waiting until my 6a had a cracked screen, battery needs charging multiple times a day, and the case is messed up as well.

Personally I would just get a camera at that point. They look tremendously better than the pixel line.
Very true.
Python feels like that sometimes too. Except much more standard library which is much better than node modules.
Here’s the link over on technology:
I just threw mint on top with a cheaper plan. Works well in my area.
Its much cheaper and parts are easier to find so appealed to me.
It worked. I only use it from time to time. But 90% of the time its online rather than mobile.
I don’t want to mess with big $$ on my phone. Seems like a recipe for disaster.
Looks the same as the 6a. I can’t tell the difference.
No idea. Although I would probably just get a USB mobile connection with a pi or something if I wanted gnu/Linux running. Just my opinion.
Yeah and it works. 4/6.
Yeah. Personally its OK. Does its job.
I got the us one. But yeah I hear you.
Mint/T-Mobile works well in my area so that’s a plus.

14·5 months agoThese are the kind of articles that occurred last time there was a boom bust cycle. Instead of outsourcing taking our jobs, its now ai. Except with outsourcing you can at least fire the individual. Ai is a subscription plan that produces template code.
Give it a couple of years and it will go from being the new shiny thing to just a microwave again.

Its also trained on old stuff.
And because its old, you get some very strange side effects and less maintainability.
