Yes I’m aware they have the feature but as others stated, listening 24/7 would require enormous levels of compute power that even google wouldnt see as economical

im a new user to immich, but with the caveat ive got my photos mounted externally and presented through immich - the external drive is backed up elsewhere with a cloud agent i dont self host - does ente have a similar feature to mount and read external media?
doesnt the UK still have the big Credit Agencies and do the same thing?

Proton Pass is a thing mate take a look it might suit your needs
I was in same boat, I ended up going with Tabby for my Linux clients.
It is by no means a like for like replacement BUT you can someshat backup and sync profiles and config across machines.
Is a huge shame it doesn’t work on android though
