As a non-drinker of coffee, I am fully onboard with raising the price of coffee. Everyone is far too addicted to it and drink excessively to an unhealthy amount. Less coffee would be better for general health. Same for chocolate, as I saw someone else mention.
Too bad Trump doesn’t care about that and doesn’t actually have any plan in mind for this kind of economic policy for the welfare of the people.
Yeah I was gonna say I’m pretty sure this isn’t a single use, disposable vehicle
Programming and math are both heavily rule-based and logic-based, which is why people say if you’re good at math you may be good at programming.

1.4.5 is a major update? Then why isn’t it 1.5.0 or 2.0.0? Use semver, people!
Or TSMC was always planning to raise the price and Gelsinger just gave them an excuse to do so sooner while not losing face or worrying other clients too much.
I think we’re just getting old and people have forgotten or never played it at this point
It will matter to Reddit in rhe long run if advertisers notice they aren’t getting as many clicks on their ads from Reddit as their metrics say they should be getting and then pull their ads off the platform and/or sue Reddit for falsifying metrics.

They’re right though. Those archived games would definitely be played… For fun. The problem is that even though the graphics aren’t as good, a lot of older games were fun and had great replayability. Eventually, there will be such a big historical catalog of games that people will be able to enjoy just legacy games without ever buying new ones.
The solution is simple: have some non-profit org manage the historical catalog, sell the old games super cheap, and send that way whoever holds the rights can still get profits off the old games. They could even give you different download options like game-only, or game in a VM that is guaranteed to actually be able to run the game.
Wearing an earring in your right ear, but it’s ok to wear it in the left… Or the other way around. I could never remember which.

Generally true, but if the professor in this context was not a moron, he probably mentioned at the start of the class that he would be forcing a change to requirements part way through the course. Ideally, he would’ve specified what kind of changes this would be, in order for the students to account for that in their design. I think it’s likely this happened, but the student was lacking so much experience he didn’t understand that hint or what he needed to do in the design in order to later swap parameters more easily. I’m going to withhold judgement on this professor having only heard a biased account. It could’ve been a very good assignment, now being told from the perspective of a mediocre student.
