Does that mean you’re less than 10 years away?

I’m sure the lack of preservatives makes it worth it. For me, I like high amounts of sugar in my bread (hello Subway) and I don’t have time to make my own.
We’re talking about moving in ~4 years so we’ll start saving up for a down payment on top of maxing out our IRAs. Right now, the plan is to convert our current house into a rental when it’s time.
Those quick releases look great. Simple solutions are sometimes the hardest thing to come up with.
For the upper arm, will it eventually use all four springs or do you alternate the pair based on the direction you want it to lean?
I’m in a similar phase right now. We plan on moving in 3-4 years and I’m leaning towards turning our current home into a rental. We bought it at $300k and it’s now worth $650k. We are now putting money into a regular brokerage to save for the next down payment. I don’t think we’ll have enough saved in time so we’re leaning towards lowering our tax advantage contributions until then.

Wondering the same thing. I blocked some foreign instances to clean up my “all” feed but those users interact with English instances and I’d love to see their comments automatically. The option to block seeing posts from a community sounds ideal.
I should hit my fire number their senior year of highschool. If they receive scholarships, I will probably do “one more year” just in case. If they need help, I may move back my retirement date more. But it all depends on how hard they tried in highschool. If they are a C student, I would encourage them to join a community college or a technical school that matches their passions.
It’s such a gamble right now. I look forward to the framework improving and the healthy instances rising to the top. Good choice on lemmy.world. it’s a safe bet imo.
Virtualbox all the way. That way, she can still run her day to day apps in macOS while only using virtualbox for the class. And here’s the best part - once she reaches the point where she knows the setup she likes, she can create a new VM and set it up cleanly and delete the old one. I would only use the boot camp option if she will need to connect to hardware. VirtualBox can be finicky when it comes to USB devices.
How many times did you think “I should hire someone” but then you remembered how expensive it would be?
While my kids live at home, regular fire due to living in HCOL. Once they are off to college, I’d love to move somewhere cheaper and live a lean fire life. In other words, I should hit my number once they leave home.
I switched to Atomic over 4 years ago and it’s the only brand I buy now. I don’t like wasting plastic and I know Atomic will print perfectly for me. If there’s an issue, it was my printer’s fault.
I thought I was rural but you’re a whole different level
After 11 years of no TV, we just purchased one so that our 2 year old won’t have to stare at a phone screen to watch educational videos. After he leaves for college, I’d be happy to return to a no TV house.
To answer your question, my wife is a lifelong learner. She spends most nights reading or taking courses to further her career. I’m a hobby person - playing instruments, woodworking, 3d printing, electronics, house projects. If we want to watch a new movie, we’ll see it in theaters. We don’t have time for tv shows. We’ve never watched The Office, GOT, Breaking Bad, The Wire, etc. which makes for interesting double dates.
Congrats! That has to be a great feeling. We’re 16 years away and I’ve already started looking at it as “number of employers left”. I should only have to work for 4-5 more companies.
