I posted about it last week too. It sucks. I’d cancel it too, but I got my whole family on there. Leeches!

Me too, but it’s very hard. So much stuff is becoming hard to do without the smartphone. I’m torn. But yeah, it would be cool to just have a dumb phone, mp3 player, and camera.

I got an AK DAP that holds all my lossless cd rips and older lossless downloads. But, like you, I mainly use my iPhone, likely close to what you said: 90-10 split. Apple Music is now lossless for no extra fee. I still think it’s nice having the DAP as a standalone device.

It’s gonna be a mix of Lightning and USB-C for a while. Don’t throw out those cables just yet!

Yeah, that’s how it goes with Apple. I’m gonna install Foobar2000 and have my favourite albums in there, and let the new Apple Music be the messy collection of one-offs and new songs I discover.

I drank a ton of those 0 sugar flavored carbonated water when I was quitting, but I stopped after a while. Felt bad creating so much recycling. But yeah, I like them! I’ll take one when people offer or when I do feel like something other than water. I just no longer buy them on a regular basis. My home made alternative is squeezing half a lemon in a glass of water or club soda (and I’d buy the 2L bottles).

Once you try avoiding sugar, your choices are pretty limited. I drank some pop when I was just starting to quit, but I knew it was just a temporary solution. On the bright side, you save money by drinking water most of the time. If we go out I’ll sometimes order those fake cocktails, but they are so expensive.

I’d love to try the Journal app, but I have a lot of data in a different journal app. Unless they offer a way to import, I’m likely sticking to my current one (Day One).

Like someone else already mentioned, there are plugins that allow you to do this on a Mac. However… I found them to be overpriced and wasn’t even sure where in the world they get printed. I ended up finding a photo print business that I know is local and had decent prices and features on their site and I just use that.
