    This is a Maori war dance called a Haka. Traditianally meant to intimidate your enemies and psych yourself up before a big battle. Here are some real Maori warriors performing a large Haka. https://youtu.be/xI6TRTBZUMM

        Imagine seeing an army doing this in full face paint 300 years ago. Terrifying. I’d give up, they win.

            Yeah but this way is way scarier, cause even if you survive the army, you now also have to invent a time machine if you ever want to get back home.

          Well tattoos, but yeah. They also do it before every union game and it makes me want to pick up the ball again and play them. Not going to happen, but the Aussie side is pretty shite at the moment, so there’s a chance

        She’s newly elected. This was a part of her first speech and it has gone viral. She’s Maori and I suppose this is her saying she’s there to fight, but I didn’t see the rest of the speech.
