For more information: https://linuxmint-user-guide.readthedocs.io/en/latest/snap.html Package: snapd Pin: release a=* Pin-Priority: -10 EOF Change the /etc/apt/preferences.d/mozilla Package: * Pin: origin packages.mozilla.org Pin-Priority: 1000 Package: Thunderbird* Pin: release o=Ubuntu Pin-Priority: -1 you can grab the ppa and no more snap
