I remember the first time I listened to this album, mid acid trip standing in the middle of the Australian outback with zero light pollution, staring up at the most amazing night sky you’ll ever see.
10/10 would recommend.

Catharsis defined!
The whole album can be played as a single continuous song the way they all blend together without any obvious breaks. That’s one of the reasons I like entire Pink Floyd albums, and this is one of my all time favorite ones.😃
Another reason is that they do left and right channel shifting extremely well. The music moves.
That is also one of the reasons why the vinyl is better than the CD for this album. On the CD there’s a slight stutter between songs, and you can tell where one stops and the other starts.
The whole album is prophetic in a lotta ways
