I mean, it’s what you’d expect from older gen X-ers, which isn’t a bad thing. That one song sounds a lot like R.E.M., and the more popular tracks on the channel have a real post-punk vibe overall. The older stuff up there reminds me of… Tom Petty? Overall, easy listening rock.

Edit: I don’t know what I expected. Freakin’ Keanu is in the band. Of course it’s wholesome.

That’s exactly what it is. I’m not sure who’s jam it is, but it’s hard to like, hate it.

It’s for people who grew up in the 80s and 90s, but want to hear new songs.

I means, I still listen to and enjoy new music while being in my 40’s, but the shit you loved in your teens just kind of gets hardwired into your soul. What I enjoyed back then was usually a bit heavier, though.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s. I like new music.

This is the type of music Joe Montegna was bitching about in Airheads. It’s fine, there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s just so… Bland?

      They’re no 30 odd foot of grunt…

But for a band that has an a list celebrity in it, they’re pretty good.
