I dunno. I reckon if Rosalyn engaged in his world (and maybe they made a snow man massacre or something), they’d probably have a great time…
The problem is, due to the ADHD, one of them is masking their behaviour considerably in any ‘positive interaction’. That’s why there aren’t any -they’re both too ‘sincere’ (not the best use of the word, but I hope you get the idea )
Yes! Exactly like that! It worked out great in the end but was a rocky start with the bargaining and masking (about the nonsensical nature) but she got into it in the end!
Looks tiring, though - but one of the more rewarding strips I’ve seen. He’s got a great way of portraying things!
Yeah, but a lot of times she was on the phone to her boyfriend, or doing homework.
I don’t think there are hard rules about babysitting. When I pay someone to come out and spend time with our cats when we’re in vacation, I expect them to be engaging with the cats and not just sitting in the house in their phone. Maybe with babysitting, parents only expect the sitter to provide adult supervision, not play with their kids.
IIRC, half the time Rosalyn tried to engage; the other half she was doing her own thing. Sounds pretty realistic for the average teenager.
The CLEATS part always sent me.
I bet Rosalyn was a baddie
