Read Between the Lions. There were far too many Dad puns for my little brain to handle. It broke me

For pure nostalgia, the answer would be Franklin.
For the wacky antics it’d definitely be a tie between Ed Edd n’ Eddy and Codename Kids Next Door. What other shows can you get a cursed telephone that causes suffering and an elevator made of junk that leads to the moon for EEnE? Or for KND have a whole zoo filled with kids as the exhibits so childless parents can throw peanuts at them while also having an episode where a man who looks like a baby use his cigar to connect to a global satellite web to try and turn everyone else into babies?
Inspector Gadget
What happened to Tazmanian Devil?
Do you mean Taz Mania or the original Taz shorts (Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies)?
South east Asia:
Voltes V
Mazinger Z
Daimos
Macross
Transformers
Thunder cats
Mask
Dino riders
Mask & Dino Riders were created with the same thought process as transformers: make a show to sell toys…
That shit worked, lol! I had the motorcycle helicopter & a pterodactyl with missile launchers. I wanted that T-Rex so bad, but that was like $100 in 80’s money and was not happening.
Brave Star was my favorite, though.
I had the motorcycle with sidecar submarine.
Samurai Pizza Cats. My grandma would have tapes of it so whenever I went over to my grandma’s house, chances are this show would be playing at some point haha. The episode I remember the most is the one with the dragon.
It’s a Dutch show that was beautifully drawn and animated in Japan. It still looks fantastic and it takes you seriously as the material is quite mature. It’s about ww2, sort of like deep space 9. There’s a lot of world exploration and adventure and it adresses societal issues. The only bummer is that the gender norms are quite old fashioned so it might not be appropriate for your kids based on your views.
Johnny Bravo
My all time favorite was Robotech, though it has not aged well.
I also went through a lot of Disney in my youth:- Gummi Bears
- Duck tales
- Darkwing Duck
And then there was the smattering of others:
- Dungeons and Dragons
- Thundercats
Don’t forget Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers
Robotech
Blew my little mind away
Gargoyles, Batman The Animated Series, X-Men, Exosquad, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain. Liked them equally.
I would have never memorized the presidents without Yakko, Wakko and Dot
This shouldn’t be the answer because it’s not really for kids. But it is, and will always be, The Simpsons.
Every evening at 6pm on UPN I would watch the Simpsons with my dad. I went from watching and understanding Bart to now watching with my daughter and seeing it through Homer’s eyes.
As a kid, I would always flip on the TV for the evening episode of the Simpsons too haha! Except I swear for me it was 5pm.
I’m EST. Maybe you are central time? Bill Nye was on at 5pm on PBS for me
Pinky and the Brain.
Although now as a middle aged man, Bluey.
Bluey is GOAT level.
The Tick.
I really enjoyed the comic book hero shows, and The Tick and Freakazoid were great fun to watch as parodies of the genre.
I was so happy to see The Tick get a couple of seasons as an Amazon show.
I’ll throw in EEK! The Cat in with the hilarious and witty parodies
Not my favourite but I’m throwing this out tbere.
