Not surprising at all, currency markets always overreact to trade deals before correcting once the actual economic impacts become clearer.
The economic impacts will be disastrous.
Not really. Globalization was not an entirely good thing. Some things improved, some important things were lost. Europe, like the rest of the world will adjust.
