Catapults and ballistas are different, not because of how they store the energy, but how the throw the projectile. A catapult throws it off a holder and a ballista shoots in down a track.
It’s a goddamn catapult. I will not tolerate factual inaccuracy for the sake of a funny meme.
I’m using Sync, and in Sync you can click on a post and then click on the bar at the top of the post that says which sublemmy/community and instance it’s from. From there you can see other posts in that community, subscribe, etc. I’ve never used lemmy from a browser.
A few words of advice tho: there seems to be only one single generic error message which leaves you, the user, to figure out what is wrong when the site won’t let you create a community. You can not use uppercase letters (but you can give the community a “displayed name” that differs from the actual address), some special characters aren’t allowed, and it won’t let you create a community if there already is one under the same name. You can check which communities already exist here: https://lemmy.world/communities …by searching for related keywords.
I miss trebuchetmemes
This is more of a catapult. A vastly inferior siege engine.
Excuse me, the meme very clearly specifies it is a form of ballista since it works off of bent spring power
The meme is fucking wrong.

I don’t even know how to open sublemmies

What I mean is create a sublemmy. I didn’t word that clearly
Ohh ok, yeah I also have no idea how to do that.
With this: https://lemmy.world/create_community ;)
