I am at Walmart and need to know the exact length of my old charging cable so I don’t end up with a shorter one.
It’s two meters.
Americans: just remember for rough mental computations. Keyword rough
1M ≈ 1yard ≈ 3feet 1Kg ≈ 2lb
You can almost basically just convert yards to meters directly. For kilos just 2x in your head for easy math. 2.2 is the actual multiplier, but for estimations, 2x works for most cases.
What’s that in freedom units?
Roughly a bald eagle wingspan or the length of two shotguns.
🤣🤣
Idk but I’m in the US and Apple still sells their cables with metric measurement units on the box, so even if OP is in the US they will be buying a 2 meter cable.

A meter is 39 inches so two meters is a little over 6.5 feet.
A quick search for your Mac on Apple’s tech specs site would probably yield faster results for you.
And just to be pedantic, if it’s a newer MacBook, then the included cable is a “MagSafe” cable, which has USB-C on one end and a magnetic rectangle to plug in to charge. (You can still do regular USB-C charging if you want)
