So looking at it further, the use case is for a “spin faucet” that could be used to rapidly control the spin polarization of an electric current. I’m not really familiar with spintronics, but it could have big implications for computing hardware.

It seems really weird complicated but what I could gather is it’s third sort of magnet with alternating electron spin. Your standard fridge magnet the electrons all spin in the same direction so that it’s pulled, for example, towards your fridge. These new magnets have no outward macro magnetism because the fields all cancel each other out. We made a magnet that doesn’t act like a magnet.
He’s got Elven heritage. He’s the 64th descendant of Elros, brother of Elrond. I think he’s also decendend from a Maiar as Elros and Elrond’s great great grandmother was Melian.

That’s not the universal view within the government, the OBR has estimated that imports/exports of goods and services are 15% lower than had the UK stayed in the EU although some research goes as high as 30% and some as low as 6%

Bad, I’m lucky and live in a fairly afluent area of the south (but outside of London) but decades of conservative cuts have left our local government councils broke. My best friends moved to Europe because one of them worked in the arts and there’s not enough jobs to support them in just the UK. The new Labour government is an improvement but has shifted significantly to the right in their policies and feels like Conservative Light and is actively persecuting Trans and immigrant people through it’s policies to appeal to ex-conservatives. They’re starting to seek closer ties to Europe again but everything feels pretty hopeless.
Elegoo’s Saturn 3 is pretty budget friendly and decent quality in my experience. I’ve owned an original Mars and a Saturn 3 and I’ve been happy with both.

That sucks but at least it was quick, I got put in the Bond wiggler.

There’s a great podcast called “Kill James Bond” that posits the theory that every time a spoof comes out it scared the studios so much that they had to reboot it.

They’re still making videos on YouTube at least once a year too! One of the two brother chaps who created it went on to work on the animated show Gravity Falls too.
Yep, you’ll never get it perfect, but a smaller layer height will make the steps less noticeable. Adaptive layer height in cura if you use that can help, but adds a mortal age to the length of the print.

Is this the first print you’ve done with it? Have you done any exposure calibration with this resin?

Ethanol should be fine to use as far as I know. Do the holes go all the way through? If so your screen might have dead spots. You can visually inspect the screen by setting it to do a test exposure without the resin tank on it to check. Also obviously check that your tank doesn’t have any failed print bits stick to the sheet.

The industry is experiencing historic shrinkage post COVID due to unsustainable growth during COVID.
Yes, but only in the fact that it looks like 4-5 different decks have got mixed together.

It’s not an easy transition. My partner works for DDG and I still don’t use it all the time. To their credit they are working to improve things but it’s a small team (comparatively). Their browser has some good features like app tracking protection just from having it installed and quick throwaway email support but isn’t quite up to Firefox’s standard (yet).

Don’t forgot the Blitzchung Hong Kong scandal - Blizzard has really gone from scandal to scandal the last few years.

I loved discovering all the little quirks of the character skins - I remember the stone golem was immune to fire.
Altermagnetism - if you’d like to try your hand at understanding it.
