The stance puts Kennedy — who’s mounting long shot bid to unseat President Joe Biden as the Democratic standard bearer in 2024 — out of step with most of his party.

Republicans think that Democratic voters are as stupid as Republican voters.

        I hope they’re wrong. They’re wrong, right? … :-\

Also, how is a Republican running as a Democrat? Is it just me thinking there’s a glaring flaw in the US’s political mechanics? Y’know, just the one. Nothing else wrong there. …Other than seemingly literally everything, with exactly zero hope of any meaningful change no matter what goes wrong nor how wrong it goes. sigh

Because they are. There’s no difference between the two parties because neither makes the rules. The absolute state of burgers ffs it’s no wonder we’re turning into a shit hole

How can you look at the last 2 years vs. the 4 before that and claim the parties are the same?

When someone’s head is that far up their own ass, the view is the same no matter where they look.

You’re intentionally misconstruing my statement. They’re the same in that neither runs the country; plutocrats run the country. And if you don’t understand this simple, fundamental truth, your mind will forever be enslaved.

Basically are in terms of quality of life for nearly all Americans. At least with Biden and Trump- some other candidates would likely be different.

How many Americans know someone who died from COVID or is suffering from long COVID (or are themselves)? Because Trump is responsible for a hell of a lot of that. Biden is not.

With this announcement on his stance on abortion, I think that idea is out the window.

Henry Cuellar’s success in his district in the deep south of Texas isn’t indicative of anything at all on a national level.

It’s so nice that the national party has to step in to save us from ourselves. Otherwise we might elect a progressive instead of the anti-choice candidate they prefer.

Is it your belief that Joe Biden is “anti-choice?”

Because he is 100% the pick of the Dem Party

It’s my belief that the party will abandon any principle to shut out progressives, and Coathanger Cuellar shows that.

Down voters apparently aren’t aware that the national Democratic party will back an anti choice candidate in order to prevent a progressive from taking the seat.
