I guarantee they’re panic making this specifically because they need to make back all the money Randy spent on the movie
They all have kind of bad pacing. Takes too long to get to the good parts, spends too much time walking back and forth or driving around. The core gameplay is meh- it’s more about levels and gear stats than like strategy or execution. It takes too long to get enough skill points to do interesting things.
Unless they address that stuff, I’m going to wait for the game to be in the bargain bin.

For those who don’t know…
Was hoping the movie would have killed the franchise and force them to move on and make something original again instead of wallowing in IP rot.
At least the games are usually fun to play.
The story will be meh, but I doubt the gameplay will be bad.
The gameplay loop is only fun when the dialogue is funny and it hasn’t been funny since 2.
I’m just so over looking at virtually identical gear with slightly better stats that were randomly generated.
Remember when Borderlands was just goofy fun about shooting crazy guns and not “save the universe” shit?
You literally kill a universe killing extra dimensional monster in the first game.
