Summary

Donald Trump suggested using “economic force” to acquire Canada, citing trade deficits and national security benefits.

He also claimed the U.S. “subsidizes” Canada by up to $200 billion annually.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau dismissed the idea, saying, “there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell” Canada would join the U.S.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Joe Biden praised Trudeau’s leadership as he prepares to leave office amidst rising U.S.-Canada trade tensions and tariff threats under Trump.

Very limited, compared to his predecessors. Plus, he’s got a lot less money to invest/spend. Not my problem (I’m not a US citizen nor I live in the US) but his voters too should be able to separate his fuckery from his actual political actions (whatever they will be)

The richest man in the world is backing him and is part of his government. There’s no bottom to his access to wealth. Entire militaries and governments are beholden to Melon…

How is it more limited when his party also controls the house, senate, and Supreme Court?

Limited in the world, it’s not the 80s anymore, not even the 90s or the 00s…back then a US President was the closer thing humanity had to a world leader

In that sense you are probably right, but I would say he has more power to make bad decisions that can still seriously fuck shit up abroad than any president from those decades too.
